The City is required to provide sufficient public safety facilities and services to existing and future development. Spatial analyses were performed to isolate and identify areas of the City that experience sub-standard fire and rescue service or have the potential to experience sub-standard service with new development (based on a 7.5 minute response time standard). These analyses (performed at the “Census Block Group” level) and results are documented in Fire-Rescue Development Impact Fee Program – Unit Cost Analysis (prepared by Intersecting Metrics; March 16, 2021), incorporated herein by reference, and included as Appendix A. |
